Scope & Limits — Executive Disclosure
To ensure compliance with institutional underwriting frameworks and sovereign risk standards, the operational mandate of the TIAKI 17 AI Agent Ecosystem is governed by strict structural boundaries. This disclosure operates under explicit scope limitations to maintain institutional purity and clear regulatory demarcation.
The Four Demarcations
TIAKI is a cryptographic attestation infrastructure. It is not a custodian, a rating agency, a central counterparty, or a sovereign substitute. The following four demarcations are non-negotiable and apply across every vertical, every agent output, and every counterparty engagement.
What TIAKI Is — and Is Not
Boundary
Not a Custodian
TIAKI does not take possession, custody, or legal ownership of physical or digital assets, commodities, or financial instruments. It operates purely as a zero-trust cryptographic attestation layer. Legal and physical custody remains within eIDAS-compliant, bank-grade Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and institutional third-party custodian nodes.
Boundary
Not a Rating Agency
TIAKI does not issue forward-looking ESG scores, credit ratings, or qualitative risk valuations. It programmatically calculates continuous, deterministic data-integrity and provenance scores derived directly from immutable physical and digital sensor payloads.
Boundary
Not a Central Counterparty (CCP)
TIAKI does not clear, net, or guarantee transactions, nor does it act as a market maker, broker-dealer, or financial intermediary. It provides the non-repudiable cryptographic rail that generates sovereign-grade electronic securities (under frameworks such as the German Electronic Securities Act, eWpG), which clear via independent institutional clearing venues (e.g., Clearstream, D7).
Boundary
Not a Sovereign Substitute
TIAKI does not replace national regulators, customs authorities, or international enforcement bodies. It enhances public oversight by providing a machine-to-settlement Read-API displaying verified, untampered telemetry.
Governance & Update Cadence
Governance owner — TIAKI Risk & Compliance Committee.
Update cadence — Quarterly, or upon material regulatory change (CSDDD, SFDR, CBAM, CRMA, OFAC, EU sanctions packages).
Last reviewed — 15 June 2026.
Escalation — Material deviations from these boundaries are subject to freeze under the EF-#06 Lattice Breach Handler protocol and reported to the relevant institutional counterparty within T+1.
